I think last time they had to shift
NUS accounting to
NTU to set up NBS. so that
NTU would not be full of nerdy engineers, and increase the female population in
NTU. All part of
LKY's scheme to get uni grads to marry one another.
Those were the heydays of accounting. Many dudes who would've have done boring ol engineering were attracted to accounting due to the sudden influx of chicks.
Now, everybody avoids BAcc like the plague.
