I got sponcership to study my poly, and got to bond with the force till at least 2015 and im currently 27 yrs old this yr! i was caught between full-time/part-time studies. i can only go full-time sponcership studies(subject to approval) if i convert to officer and also bond another few yrs. if i go take part-time NTU(5yrs) on my own, i can leave the force and join the sector outside at age 32. is it a little too old? Im also worried of the HIGH amount of FT(China, India..). i guess most company will hire them since their cost r lower?? can an engineer in Singapore earn much?
I hope some1 can give me some opinion/advice pls...

OIC, so you are a regular in the airforce (I presume). Frankly speaking, for your career options, I would advise you to sign on to them as long as possible, but best for you to proceed to convert to officer rank as opposed to you staying as a specialist.
If you are not prepare to compete with FT/FW when you
ORD, then you are not prepare mentally. If you leave the force, even with a diploma or degree, you will need to adjust your expectation, becoz the experience in the force is considered zero to most employers. And question of Singaporean earn more as an engineer is irrelevant. Simply becoz you need to prove yourself worthiness before asking such questions. In outside, there is no such thing as pull rank, it is the result that counts.
