these high iq ppl will leave for other more challenging fields cos their intelligence is wasted on doing audit at the junior level
of cos there are others who r very good relationally & good client skills. these guys will eventually make partners if they can progress thru the initial grind
by and large, the average competition is from TAR and private degree holders. no high flier goes to audit.
don't believe me? ask yourself honestly. how many people who studied overseas in good unis like LSE, Oxbrige, UCL, Ivy league have u heard, joining big 4 as A1? Lmao

Errr I know someone from my sch who wasn't able to join big 4 after graduation! His results were quite stellar, first class if I'm not mistaken. At the bare minimum a 2:1
