You will not die of hunger in Singapore as long as you're willing to work... Just maybe need to lose a bit of dignity and self-respect to be able to survive and feed the familiy... Hopefully your wife will not dispise you and your kids will understand... Hope you didn't commit to any expensive car loans or housing loans like many Singaporeans..
