Pre COVID - assoc / VP bonus typically 6-9 months in Singapore. In NY, it's typically higher where 12 months + is not uncommon. And you are right, with lower taxes here the take-home is higher in Singapore.
That said, folks are expecting much higher numbers for this year given much stronger deal flow and the struggle to retain talent. Let's see how bonuses shake out in Jan next year.
