Few days ago I received an opportunity to join a hedge fund as a SOC analyst. Would it be better for me to join them? I think that I could learn much more there considering they’re among the top targets for cyber attacks. Work includes me being part of the IR team and do a bit of threat hunting. Pay is also better but I realize it may not look good for me to leave early as I’m at risk of getting blacklisted.

Just go. No point staying doing something you don't like when a better opportunity presents itself.
You can just leave the 3 mth off your resume.
