The worklife balance was hard to beat, I don't think I can receive better offer in pte sector while only doing 1 to 2 hours worth of work a day. And even if pte sector offers 20% more, would likely have work like mad for it.

I have a senior who switched from SB to KPMG, he was making 8k+ at the SB and KPMG offered him 12k. In the end, he said he regretted because the loss of worklife balance was not worth the extra 3k.
