Don't be despondent. I used to think so too, until i got accepted into
MAS after working for 2.5 years in the insurance industry. I have exactly 3.5/5 second lower from
NUS. It worked out for me, although i was rejected for a graduate officer role, i became an AD in
MAS a few months earlier than graduate officers would have took
, a slightly faster progression.
