SARS was better? Are you kidding? Their incompetence caused the outbreak in
SGH which resulted in death of Dr Alex Chao. In fact when he got sick they were saying he had dengue. It is always the bureaucrats who are the problem. Back then for
SGH SARS it was over confidence. Even told staff no need to wear N95 until the outbreak happened. Reason there weren't enough masks and they did not want to cause alarm and panic.
Same in this story. I would think the downside risks of allowing these covid +ve cases into community without quarantine is higher than the upside? What is so important that they cannot have the same 14 day quarantine as others?
