Glassdoor is absolute hogwash. Starting base salaries for females is high 4, and for males with FCH and
NS is ~low 5. With bonuses (FSOs get higher PBs and other special bonuses which i’d prefer not to list here), even a freshie would be drawing about 7k per month.
Salaries also scale up quickly thereafter, particularly with promotions and years in service, and of course other perks along the way. So you do generally cross 5 digits per month by about your 5th/6th year in service.
