HR won't be so stupid and say there's 0 conversion chance. Obviously they will say there are some chances, just to make people accept. But whatever happens down the road, nobody knows. I have a friend who is a current UBS trainee and he/she says the chances are really slim (if not, close to 0). UBS already has a pipeline of candidates who are waiting for perm roles, such as their prestigious summer internship or even their semester internship.
