AVP range very wide, your brother make 8k is either new or not very good performer. Most AVP easily exceed 10k a month,
SGX compete with international investment banks for talent. Offering 8k for AVP while the international banks pay the same amount for entry level Associates will make them laughing stock (excuse the pun) in the financial world.
