I graduated high school in New Zealand, and after serving
NS, realized my results did not qualify me for
SMU or
NUS law.
UK unis are substantially more expensive; my New Zealand PR qualifies me for domestic student fees in both NZ and Australia. Hence, Melbourne University was, at the time, the cheapest highest ranking option.
