So that amateurish HR practices like paying 2 persons from the same ma batch very differently, as mentioned by the poster above, can be exposed and eliminated. There has always been asymmetric information between HR and candidate, which is why HR has been able to get away with a lot of this nonsense practices. Sites like this, and helpful posters like the person above help to balance the playing field a little.
