Let me break it down for you. 2-year graduate program > promoted to next pay grade > 2-3 years later promoted again to next pay grade.

Starting at 4.4K and assuming a 6% increment for non-promotion years & 15%-25% increment when promoted, it’s very likely for someone in local bank BO/MO to earn close to 7k base after 5 YOE.
