Sounds impressive, but from my knowledge of corporate culture in general, there always seems to be an inflation of titles of some sort. Never worked in civil service and was just wondering if this is true in civil service also.

Some govt agencies inflate the title because their officers deal with international people and 'Manager or Executive' just wouldn't cut it. I think
MTI entry-level is Assistant Director, and
MAS entry-level is Associate.
