Future of
erp is quite boring since
SAP HANA and cloud push are still not quite there.
People abandoning
SAP HR for workday,
SAP CRM for Microsoft Dynamics,
SAP PS have competition from Primavera, Fiori is a big pile of disaster, Ariba sucks as well and is not even integrated to MM, SAC implementation is total headache and so on.
If you don’t mind handling all the unnecessary complicated things in
SAP, there will always be a place for a
sap person. You have to be good in both functional and technical - too risky to just do one imo.
