For UOB MAP, unless you are from the 3 local uni, chances for you is close to nil. The closest is a guy from suss who has outstanding achievements (it is just a linkedin search away to know the candidates they are looking for). Most positions are filled since late dec, even for traineeships, and these positions will be in the pool for their future perm positions.

Their HR is usually very efficient in contacting the candidates that they want, approx 1 week. Fastest is 2 to 3days. Beyond 1 week, it is better to look elsewhere.

If you are in private uni, better to upgrade yourself, learn BI skills or data( if you are keen). Banking is a tough environment, the better paid position (relative to salary and worklife bal) is in MAP, SME/CORP sales, and tech. The rest are a pretty soul draining departments.

Not to trash hope but the 2020/2021 grad will have it tougher cause of all the traineeships being handed out
