I'm not sure what are the arrangements now, but back when I was working in NUS a couple of years ago: For research based track, school fees are 100% waived, for coursework based, school fees are waived 80%. The requirement is you must be employed by the school for minimally a year before your application. Other benefits also include 3 exam leave per modules, and the convenience of attending lectures within the school campus, you don't have to rush down from other parts of Singapore to make it for the 6pm lecture.
