If you have some internship experience or relevant projects, you can try applying for direct hires instead of MAPs too. Reason being, MAPs are very competitive and they have so many time-consuming stages of interviews. MAPs are usually more useful when you intend to stay on with the company for long and as they have a structured path for you to go into mgmt in future.
