well by exposing urself as foreigner in this forum is apparently suicide. i've seen many threads by foreigner asking genuine questions were 'attacked' by the xenophobic local lurking in this forum.
anyway, with 10k, i'll probably looking for studio or master room at Condo. minimum would be around 1.5k for rent on monthly basis. no issue with sounds so far , go for condo rather than
HDB.
u'll be able to get by easily on 1/3 of ur salary, -- given if you don't smoke, party on weekly basis, eat at restaurant or go cafe for an overpriced cappucino on daily basis.
