We don't expect our retirement to be more extravagant than our pre-retirement life, maybe even slightly more frugal (just slightly). We are simple people, just like the average middle class in Singapore -- restaurant meals a few times a week, a jap car for convenience (or maybe a german one if we decide to spend in this area), hanging out in malls during weekends, exercising regularly in parks and nature reserves, and overseas vacation once or twice a year.
How much do we need for retirement? Maybe 3m is more than enough for the both of us.
