Yes. I chose to have a more relaxing time during my 4 years in uni. Did not work hard and did not go for high distinction. Only graduated with distinction and I am happy, for the amount of time I spent studying. As for my chosen profession, it is a choice. I went in with my eyes wide open. Until our authority do more to recognise it via compensation, it will always be a thankless and underpaid profession. I guess the rewards will never be from financial.
