Depends on how you look at it. After the schools that were removed were announced by MinLaw, people have stopped going there I think.
It'll take some time before the market adjusts.
But very soon we'll also have SUSS grads.. a first from SUSS > 2.1 from
NUS? Not sure how the market will value them.
With a harder PTC regime and Bar exams, the cost-benefit analysis is likely to tilt against doing law in the first place. You want to do law? Think long and hard about the costs. It will likely be a test of how much you actually want to be in the profession.
Now the real issue is Covid. There is a glut solely because of market forces and low retention rates.
