The way the media has been trying to say economy has picked up recently, you know it's an election tactic to give pple a "feel good" feeling. So I suspect the year-end bonus will reflect the same sentiment, since the public service does have a sizeable electorate.

Fingers crossed, I speculate it's going to be same as last year, ie. 1 mth for the variable bonus. The 13th month is a given.
