While I think 1mth is impossible, I also think that punishing the civil servants will not cause an opposition supporter to convert to voting
PAP. Instead, punishing the civil servants will only make some in the service vote opposition.
Whatever the
PAP does, opposition supporters will take it negatively. So it's pointless to sacrifice civil servants in a bid to win opposition votes. As politicians, the
PAP should know that too well.
