hi all

this may be unrelated to the thread topic but just want to throw the question out there.

if you are working as a manager and considering there is no promotion due in the coming few years, what is the increment % that one can rely and see if it's within the market range?

as I started off as a very junior associate, working my way up to senior associate, assistant manager and all. usually the increment that I have received so far is in double digits %. partly due to lower basic.

But back to my initial point, as we progress gradually to a semi management level where promotion doesn't come yearly anymore (or should be to begin with), increment becomes more important in that sense cause maybe the next upcoming promotion is 3 to 5 years away.
