Care to share what the latest hiring practices are in your ministry/stat board?

Heard that nowadays the they are simply hiring in 2 years rolling contract. Or at best 2 years to perm. In the recent past it was 1 year to perm, and further back it was just probation for a few months then confirmation.

Asking to find out what the norm is nowadays.
