I beg to differ. I personally miss out on honours due to poor results and I don't think I am beggars. In fact, I am one of the better earners than my local uni peers. There are also other third class and non honours graduates doing well at thier career. A lot depends on EQ and working attitude. Study and work capability is not equal.
