Its far easier to get a Big 4 TC than many positions in other industries actually. 1 interview, see your grades, can speak proper english, don't sound like a moron/bimbo, handsome or chio, bam you're offered! Compared with other industries like front office banking and consulting where competition for recruitment is absolutely brutal, law students are really a sheltered bunch actually.
A Commonwealth LLB ain't worth jack and has no value add for other industries. The only exception is if you had a JD from a good American law school. Only then you'll be considered equivalent to other MBA candidates because a JD is essentially a post-grad professional degree.

I jumped ship to financial sector one year back after throwing in the towel with 2PQE. Life is stable and pay pretty decent considering the hours I put in. To say that a middling law graduate with issues getting
TCs can then waltz into big banks to do some legal/compliance stuff is ********, much less IB.
