Latest update on the
Rivière showflat is that it is located, not at the actual site, but at Zion Road, where it loops back to Kim Seng Road. Opposite Great World City, on an empty plot of land that was formerly occupied by some old
HDB flats that were demolished under the SERs program.
The full set of
Riviere floor plans are not available yet, but the showflat floor plans have been released, and they look good. One of the most efficient and functional of all the new condos. Looks like Frasers haven't lost their touch in this respect. The master bedrooms are a good size, and the kitchens are L or C-shape layouts. Not much wasted space, it seems.
The litmus test here will be what the Riviere price ranges will be like. Especially with Martin Martin Modern going at an average of $2,8xx to $2,9xx PSF nowadays. So I don't expect the
Riviere prices to be anything less than that. In fact, we could be looking at something above 10% higher, since the Riviere location is considered a better one, directly by the Singapore River. And it is also within a shorter walking distance to 2
MRT stations on the upcoming Thomson East-Coast line.
It is looking like the Riviere condo showflat could launch mid this year, pending more info, like the full set of floor plans, being released.
