I am an AM doing education related work in a ministry (not moe) I draw middle 4k gross wo bonus. I was wondering why my Gross is so low, now I know an AD draws under 7k then I feels reasonable (2 ranks to climb, 5 years) , but still... It baffles me why ministry pay so low nowadays for strategic prowess.
I console myself that it depends on industry. My 2 friends in SB, males w NS, honours, manager taking mid 4k too. We are all pursuing our interest and banking on our experience, doing education related work.

I dont have the comprehensive list. i got 2 friends who are drawing 7k Manager, one in a SB under MOT, the other in a SB that used to be under
IDA. -> hope it is obvious enough. =)
You friends are likely in PA,
NEA,
CPF etc. I guess.
I believe we are given "higher" title in Ministry to show empowerment as we often have meetings with the DD or D in SB. Well, nvm about the salary so long as you are paid according to your experience, a M or a AD is afterall just a title.
