Totally agree. INSEAD does have a super heavy focus on consulting but some people I know there got through Apple, Amazon, Didi, etc. and all through INSEAD resources. So must not be a bad option after all. And yeah,
MBB unfortunately does look at your undergrad universities.
And for people switching into finance industry its usually non-finance background to PE/VC or from Wealth Management/Equity Research to IB/Asset Management. This is the trend in my class at least.
