Default Avenue South Residence & Meyerhouse by UOL

If you are a UOL fan, you might be interested to know that they will be launching two projects soon. One named the Avenue South Residence at Silat Avenue / Kampong Bahru Road, and the other being Meyerhouse at Meyer Road in the east coast. Both cater to different markets altogether.

The upcoming Avenue South Residence is a 99 year leasehold project, targeting more the wider market. It is located near the 24km long Rail Corridor and will stand tall at 56 storeys high, making it one of Singapore’s tallest condominiums.

Hence residents here will get panoramic views of the Greater Southern Waterfront area, apart from enjoying its central location in the Spottiswoode / Tanjong Pagar area. Anticipated to house a total gross floor area (GFA) of over 900,000 sq ft, it will be a mixed-use project offering 13,993 sq ft of commercial retail space and roughly 1,074 residential apartments. South Avenue Residences is actually being developed by UOL in partnership with UIC and Kheng Leong.

The other project, Meyerhouse, is a 56-unit luxury freehold condominium within a short walk from the future upcoming Tanjong Katong MRT station on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL).

It is being designed as the “Nassim Residences of the East”, and is located at 92 Meyer Road. UOL will develop Meyerhouse in a 50:50 collaboration with Kheng Leong. This freehold project will contain only large size apartment units and penthouses on a site of over 109,000 sq ft. It should appeal to long time residents in the neighbourhood looking for big format units who have been lamenting the small sizes of new condominiums nowadays.

UOL has said in its filings that it intends to launch both South Avenue Residence and Meyerhouse for sale in the 2nd quarter of 2019.
