Seriously, does senior management of ministry really need to approve a rather junior role? public sector really need to be more nimble than that. gotta show some respect towards applicants. 2-3 months of lost salary while waiting is no joke.
seems like the recruitment process is getting hard and stricter.. maybe cos they know a lot of people want to work in CS, that y they can relax2 process... but true fact is some ministry do have many layers of approval to go through even for junior post.. need approval for additional headcount, approval for salary, approval for every single thing.. if the approver not around then have to wait till they are back.. I myself also have not get the 2nd interview result which I have went about 4 weeks ago.. I email them this afternoon, but no reply.. I was from ministry working using my diploma, then quit to join pte after got my pte degree, now want to go back CS...
