Problem is i have a decent offer by a pte sector firm which i can start immediately. Entire process was just under 2 weeks. If i take the ministry offer, i am potentially giving up 2-3 months of salary just waiting for ministry job. Kinda ridiculous.

Anybody can share what was the longest they have personally encountered from verbal offer to actual written offer to sign?
y not just accept the pte company offer, and when the ministry offer come just tender bro.. win-win situation, got money while waiting...
