the singaporeans are nasty. but as a fellow indian, i think you should be mindful of the differential cost of living.
we use the PPP as an unbiased guide.
PPP Singapore (1.08), your proposed sg salary is 10000sgd, converting to PPP is 9300 intl dollar
PPP India (17.04), your current indian salary is 5700sgd or 290000inr. converting to PPP is 170000 intl dollar.
you effectively take a 45% pay cut in view of Singapore being more expensive.
A toyota altis in Singapore cost $90,000sgd.
Hard to maintain the usual standard of living. I would ask your comapany to offer another 10000sgd, to 20000sgd if you want to have a car and send your kids to good school.
