Hi can I check what the culture in other firms are like? In my present firm the associates hardly talk to each other and we go our separate ways during lunchtime etc. Even within my own team, besides the occasional "team lunch", we don't interact with each other often or try to be friends. Is this normal, or should I be applying for someplace else?

Personally, I prefer it if my colleagues are more friendly and people that I can actually knock back a few drinks with after work. We don't necessarily have to be friends, but it would be nice to engage in chitchat every once in a while after hours over some drinks. Or do I have to go to a smaller firm to experience this?
