Does anyone use linkedin? What is it for, really, and is it any use for finding jobs?

it's like an online CV. i heard headhunters like to use linkedin to hunt for heads.

useful to find out how you fare among your peers, or when you apply for a job, whether the position offered match your calibre or not by looking at others whom are working the same company.
