A lot of ministries already announced it to their staff, it will be reflected in their August pay, maybe you're not part of the group receiving the increment so you didn't get the circular.

Any idea what's the quantum ?

MX11- ?

MX11a - ?

for those who got MX11 under the new system, they will have to clear one more layer before getting promoted to MX10.

Contract Position in Stat Boards

Hi,

Can anyone share if contract positions in Stat Boards (eg IDA, CPF)

1. are entitled to AWS and Bonus?
2. comes with Annual leaves and medical benefits? If so, same as perm positions?
3. Notice period for termination?
4. shares the same job grading as perm? ie. MX or MSO schemes? or has a different set of grades?

Can Diploma holders with decades of commercial work experience be given Manager title?

5% for MX11 to MX8.

And it's been announced in most ministries already. the MX11-MX11a isn't a real grade. basically, it's just creating an artificial symbolic promotion by cutting the existing MX11 into 2. so you get to treat ur colleagues twice when you get promote :D

How abt those who are emplaced into MX11a? Will they get one more increment + 5% increment ?

what are the criteria to get promoted from 11 to 11A?

Most new hires are offered 2 year contracts. And yes to your first 4 questions but contract staff are not entitled to study leave iirc.

I suppose the criteria of promotion from MX 11 to MX 11A is no more different than promotion from MX 12 to MX 11, etc. Perhaps less stringent since there is no jump in pay scale.

For those lucky to get emplaced to MX11A, MX 10 may be round the corner (say 1 to max 3 years) if you continue to do well.
