mainly for the work life balance so that can spend more time with the kids.

believe my pay now can qualify for minimally a lateral transfer to DD position in govt. thing is, if i started out in public sector, i won't draw what i think is the similar pay at my age now.

How much pay increase do you think I can ask for if jumping into a Ministry of Statutory Board, assuming that my experience is relevant for them? Also, how much is the minimal starting pay for a Deputy Director position?

DD min pay is 6k. the AD, DD just means possible designations

The DDs in my department earn around 8K. But they typically work for a few years in the office before becoming DDs. Not parachuted in.

How much and at what $? It depends on relevancy as well and whether there is a fit in job scope. If no, you start at 0.

curious...

if lets say i have a first class CAP, but bcos i did not do well in my fyp, i ended up with a second upper. will stats board/ministry take my CAP into consideration when making an offer for my remuneration? or will i be strictly classified under second upper?

Unregistered 28-10-2013 09:58 PM

Of course it would be a 2nd upper.
