A fair portion of luck goes into career progression and pay increment. I'm just lucky.

But there are ppl within civil service who are doing better than I am (given the same qualifications and scope of work). So bottom line is comparison can never end. You see me good I see others good.

there are so many goons in this thread. this thread says "compare civil service salary"
but so many goons come in here asking for GLC salary, stat board salary etc.

hello? do you even know what you are asking for? GLC and stat board are not civil service. stat board is public service. if you still don't know the difference, go and google.
