Yes, you should be getting more, at least 100K.

I am also an IT Project Manager worked for 10+ years, but I get paid around 150K per year basic, excluding bonus.

You are getting 150k because you are in the wrong side of IT.

I specialize in oil and gas software projects and haven't seen myself getting anything less than 180K for the last 3 years.

Default will you consider being self-employed?

To all the high income earners here,

Do you have plans to quit your job one day and do something on your own? i.e., embark on entrepreneurship.

I'm asking because I'm in a quandary of sorts.

I used to earn 200K as a middle manager in an MNC, but left my job to do my own small business 2 years ago. Though I'm making about half of what I used to earn (i.e. now earning $100K), I have more time for myself and my family, and I think I experience less work-related stress.

I would just like to know: how many of you will become an entrepreneur knowing that you will go through what I have gone through? i.e. income halved, but more time and less stress.

... and why.

Is this a banking job - so high!

Anyone knows how much a product specialist (say 4 years experience) can make?
