I know someone getting what you would get at the bank but she is a SA2 now.

Got to agree with this. There is this thing called internal equity. If you are out of the range of those within the same job group as you, you will be priced out. 15% to 20% will be a good gauge. I work in banks before.

Depends, not all banks based on job group. Some are based on bands that can be very wide e.g. 8-15k. In such cases not much difference whether its 15% or 30%.

U joking bro?
I hire fresh grads in at SA2 pay level - that's roughly 4.5k++ not considering the fatter bonuses (min 3 months compared to Big 4's max 3 months).
Someone at SA2 level aka 3-4 years working experience (relevant of course) can easily be taken in at 6k+, still associate level but internally it's more senior. AVP would need another 2 years experience minimum.

I am assuming u hire in a bank? For banks entry level can already hit 4.5++ which u need 3 years to get at a big4

Entry level pay for bank jobs are very well known since every year all the fresh grads will know... either you're hired and you find out, or you're not and your friends tell you...
4.5k is easy stuff for banks... ops staff go in at 4k+ and IT can range from 5-8k...
