PAX Schemes for Poly Lecturers
I came across this information on another thread about poly lecturer pay schemes.
pax 1 - Senior Director, Deputy Principal
pax 2 - Principal Lecturer, Director, Deputy Director ($10,920 - 14,910 /16,900)
pax 3 - Senior Lecturer, Deputy Manager, Manager, Assistant Director, and Deputy Director ($7,060 - 9,670 /10,980)
pax 4 - Senior Lecturer, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Manager ($5,120 - 7,690 / 8,980)
pax 5 - Lecturer ($3,750 - 5,740 / 6,740)
pax 6 - Lecturer ($2,410 - 4,270 / 5,200)
So the figures quoted here are Minimum, Bar/Max. May I know what does "Bar" mean?
Also, what determines which PAX band one falls under when signing on as full time lecturer? I have around 3 yrs industry exp and around 3 yrs poly lecturer (part time) exp. What grade should I be looking at realistically?
Thx in advance!
