marine lube oil industry
Hi guys,
Just to ask the veterans here the insights of the marine lube oil industry, was it badly affected by the low oil bunker prices?
Also, for a sales executive, what kind of travel allowance should i be expecting and the commission scheme.
Thanks and have a good day.

During the good old days pre-2008 incentives were attractive as many sales dealing with marine oil were easily making >$500k a year. If you add in the "extras" payment & perks can go >$1mil for those industrial old birds with the right connection.
Now I dunno, heard market quite bad and if can get >$300k already consider lucky.

I think is a totally different product your talking about. I believe your talking about bunkers, but I am dealing in lubricant oil/grease, etc
