Not easy, Unilever focuses a lot on depth in thinking. You also have to be very fast and quick in thinking.

I attended their AC as well as other reputable ones in O&G, and I would say their AC is about as tough.

Default Unilever

Did you get an offer? What would you suggest as the best ways to prepare? Would doing management consulting cases help?

Unilever offered 4800 + 700 allowance, is this good compare to other management scheme? Anyone knows what is the average pay increase there?

Yeah, I got an offer but I don't wish to divulge who I am.

Doing cases would help!

Unilever's offer is one of the best MA schemes out there. I compared it with O&G, bank MAP etc, it's probably one of the highest and best package.

I was told about ~15 - 20% year on year increases because we would be moulded to be full time managers in 3 years.

Hey, its cool, don't worry!

Other than being quick on your feet, what other tips would you say allowed you to succeed in the AC?

Thanks for the help mate.

I am not sure what function you're applying for. Each AC is designed around the specific function i.e. supply chain, marketing, finance or HR.

There are 3 components to the AC: Individual case, individual interview and group case.

What you should aim to do is to be calm, composed and a team-player. Don't be overly aggressive or blunt, Unilever's culture is more team-oriented.

Feel free to hit me on any aspects of the AC you might be unclear about. But it's not a walk in the park. I have attended ACs from some of the top MNCs in O&G as well as banking.. Unilever is definitely one of the tougher ones.

Yea, I know its not gonna be easy, hence me asking for tips. Likewise, I'm not comfortable revealing my function.

So if I get you right, all the cases on that particular day would pertain to the function you have applied for? Or would general business cases appear as well?

Another question, I'm most curious about the individual case. Is it more of a management consulting case (market sizing, market expansion, etc) or is it more of a overload you with data and you must make sense of it kinda case?

Thanks mate, if you would prefer I could pm you somewhere.

Hmm, maybe you can put down an anonymous email or something?

The cases aren't really management consulting types of cases; they're more like several big problems that they want you to tackle based on A LOT of data. And these questions are usually specific to your function. For instance, if you're a marketer, they will be testing your knowledge on branding, PR etc

It's not 100% academic but knowing theory can only help, especially in composing frameworks to make your answers succinct and easy to understand.
