Dunno why Singaporeans are so obsessed with management associate programs. Somehow people think MA = prestige and fast-track promotion.
In finance, markets analysts and investment banking analysts get WAY higher salary than some silly "management associate" earning only 4-5k/mth.
At the end of the day, job titles don't mean anything. What matters is your pay, responsibilities and progression.

But some people don't wish to do IB because of the hours or because they don't like the work. What's wrong with that?
Maybe you shouldn't be the one obsessed with trying to fit other people's life choices with your own world view.

It's true. A lot of MA think they are big shot. They think I'm a small fry just because my job title is "analyst", but my pay is double what they are getting.

So what if supposedly you have a higher salary starting out? Do you think you will make it to MD?
Just because someone doesn't go into IBD doesn't make them in any way inferior. I am really disgusted by people like you who peg others self worth including your own to how much money they make.
I make a lot of money in banking but I look down on people like you.
