I see you are 88 so i assume 1988 which means you are close to or already completed your degree. Hard truths but a Chinese degree is not worth much in SG. NIE may be your best option now.

To answer your question, you should be thinking about how to leverage on your comparative advantage to get yourself in the door.

It may not be apparent by a strong command of business Chinese is actually a very sought after skill. Now the only question is, whether you have the necessary complementing skills that can make you employable. It would certainly help if you have taken a major/ or at least some business course outside your Chinese degree that can enable to make that case to your potential employers.

My general sense is that if you are thinking of going into the corporate world or banking, the larger companies with a structured management training/associate program will generally take more kindly to individuals with non-related degrees. But of course, good grades will be a pre-requisite.

Alternatively, you might consider a sales related role where you can leverage on your mandarin skills, targeting PRC clients.

go think for urself what jobs u can do with such a degree. probably u cant think of more other than chinese teacher. job options are limited with such a degree. might as well study something that gives u more options and hence higher chance of good career prospects.
