Annual raise. Typically prorated. 5 mths work, increment 2.5% means your annual increment would be about 6%.

Anyone know if it is possible to get a consultant role with 3 years experience in a technical role?
Also, does ACN reimburse cpf for non-prs?

Hey all, I was given a verbal offer during the closing interview, and was told to wait for a formal offer from HR. Anyone knows how long the offer approval will take?
Furthermore, will the salary be negotiable for a fresh grad?

What kind of internships would help break into Accenture Strategy?

mckinsey starting is about 5.6k
Nah MBB starting isn't that high unless you're in the US lol
McKinsey is 5.6k
Bain and BCG are around there too (can't rmb exactly).
Strategy& (Pwc) actually has the highest starting entry level pay for consulting in sg actually but they work like mad there.
Accenture actually has a division that competes with MBB on some projects: Accenture Strategy (NOT to be consumed with management consulting) that pays over 5k starting

its not a consultancy, more like IT consultancy.
you cant earn 20k in accenture unless you are like 20yrs veteran.
whereas in real consulting, the starting pay is 10.5k

Management consulting is out of fashion in the past 3 years in sg, nowadays the highest starting pay tends to be in software programming. A lot of fintech and IT startups are offering 6-7k starting salaries plus cash/options/share bonuses worth 9-12 months salary.

So my question is what is the difference between a contract employment and a perm position in Accenture?

I think that's the nature of the job market nowadays. The company offers you a 1 year contract such that if they feel you are under-performing then there is no obligation from them to absorb you as FT staff. You need to work hard and prove your worth within that 1 year.
I recently went for a software job interview advertised as a 3-month contract thinking that the company only needed temp staff for 3 months. Turned out they actually wanted a minimum 1 year commitment...
Think of the contract like a pre-nuptial in a marriage.
